SSP LISTENING SESSIONS

A precise, evidence-based approach to rewiring your stress response so you can meet life with calm focus and connection.

SSP sessions are held in-person integrated within a craniosacral therapy or by distance at your own pace.


ABOUT THE SAFE & SOUND PROTOCOL

Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges and based on Polyvagal Theory, SSP is a listening-based program that uses specially filtered music to gently train the nervous system toward greater safety, connection and resilience. Through subtle shifts in how the brain processes sound, SSP helps regulate the vagus nerve (the key communicator between brain, body, and emotional state).

This recalibration reduces chronic reactivity, supports emotional balance and makes space for deeper healing work.

SSP can be experienced on its own or paired with Craniosacral Therapy to help the body integrate changes more fully. In my work, the pairing often accelerates results, allowing clients to both process and embody the shifts that SSP initiates.

HOW IT WORKS

Over the course of several sessions, you’ll listen to filtered music through over-ear headphones, either in-person or at home with my remote guidance. The music is designed to activate the neural pathways of safety, opening the door for improved emotional regulation, social connection and stress resilience. Sessions are paced to meet your unique needs and can be adapted for children, parents and those with trauma histories.

1. The Listening Journey (Distance)

For clients anywhere in the world who want to receive SSP from home.

· Initial 20-min consult to set your pace + answer questions
· 4 weeks of SSP listening via the Unyte platform (paced for your system)
· Weekly check-ins by email, voicenote or text
· Integration tools + journal prompts for at-home support

2. The Chronic Stress Reset Program (In-Person)

For local clients who wish to pair SSP with Craniosacral Therapy for deep and lasting healing.

· 6 weekly 90min in-person sessions
· Each session: 15–30 min SSP listening + 50–60 min Craniosacral work
· Gentle, steady progression through the program, ending with a dedicated integration session
· Personalized pacing for sensitive nervous systems
